    About the Book

    Edit

"Echo of My Soul" speaks to the depths of the human spirit, the delicate resilience of our hearts, and the visceral yearning to be acknowledged in our full, vibrant humanity. Within these pages, you will find a tender exploration of the soul's symphony—a narrative that weaves through the fragility of emotion, the potency of our silent desires, and the enduring strength that allows us to navigate the complexities of existence.

This is a journey of contrasts where the whispers of the heart resonate with the cries of the flesh, all the while the soul, that enigmatic essence, dances through the pain and beauty of life's tapestry. Here, we are invited to listen, to see, and to feel the echoes of our own souls as they reflect the universal story of human endurance and the quiet hope for transcendence.

This intimate odyssey that delves into what it means to be truly seen, to be truly heard, and to ultimately find peace within the echoes of our shared humanity.

    Adena M’lynn Harmon
    Paducah, Texas

Adena M’lynn Harmon has been writing since childhood, winning her first contest at age six with a poem about a tree, followed by one about her friend Susie, who was born blind. She appeared on The Mr. Peppermint Show and, as a teenager, wrote for the Mesquite Daily News in Mesquite, Texas. By college, her focus expanded to dance, psychology, and music, disciplines that continue to influence her voice. Adena’s journey has included time in prison, psychiatric hospitals, and broken relationships—chapters that tested her deeply but also shaped her resilience. Through every season, her love for Christ has been her stronghold, sustaining her through hardship and giving her words the ring of both honesty and hope. She writes in poetry and prose, drawing from her own story to reveal light in even the darkest places. She believes words have power: to heal, to shape, and to unite us, reminding us that we are never alone in our struggles or our grace.
