About the Book
A symbolization of the colors, feelings, memories, abandonments, people and nature that inhabit the Midwest. A photography book that was put together on and off for several years now. This book is as much about decay and grief as it is about transformation, love, beauty, life and truth. The majority of this work is centered in the different regions of Ohio but does spread out into different lands of the Midwest while always finding something beautiful in the most desolate of places.
This book is dedicated to a lot of different places, people, things, and times but most of all, this book is dedicated to my one and only love and the heart that is at the center of it all: Hayley Hammerstrom.
