Melissa is an artist, photographer and poet living in the PNW. She loves felines, shadows, storms, lagoons, light patterns, little imperfections, ruffled socks with ankle boots and she sleeps to dream. Although she works in many different mediums, much of her work has a dreamy, lush, romantic or even otherworldly quality which seems to tie it all together. Melissa currently lives at home with her husband and their 7-year-old son who keeps her plenty busy when she's not working on poetry or some other form of art. She studied art at Mesa Community College and Arizona State University and has a BA in Art Studies. Melissa has exhibited her artwork in a local Arizona gallery.
