In September 2020, I got the job to document the Security Guard strike in Norway. My job was to take pictures, film interviews, and post them on social media.

The strike started on the 16th of September 2020. Both the world and the country were still on high alert and partially on lockdown due to the Covid-19 virus.
This was a strike the country never had experienced before, and I had to both think and photography outside the box. For my own and the striking Security Guards safety.

How was I supposed to take good photos while I could not either talk or go to near my subjects? The answer to this question is “Candid Photography”. With this method, I could keep a good social distance, and at the same time capture the authentic moments.
