    About the Book

    Edit

A collection of paintings and collages and poetry based on everyday life, from the 1940s through today. Award-winning fine artist Carol Worthington-Levy began creating works of art to express her childhood activities with friends and neighbors from the 1950s on - and then, after doing more research included stories about her parents, grandparents, husband and friends. Acclaimed poet and family friend Arthur Turfa wrote poetry to express his thoughts and memories regarding the artwork, in part because he knew many of the people and stories told about Carol Worthington-Levy's family.
An intimate portrait of friendship and family life especially from the latter half of the 20th century.
