Rejected Collective is an all inclusive art magazine. The title and concept behind the magazine is based off of the “Salon des Refusés”, French for "exhibition of rejects". It was an exhibition of works rejected by the jury of the official Paris Salon, yet some of the rejects are the most famous artists in history today! I want the magazine to create a collective of artist who are both professional and amateur . My goal is to showcase art from all walks of life and break the boundaries of what the art world says is “good art”. I hope for the magazine to hold a surreal, uncanny and dreamlike feel.
