    About the Book

    Edit

The Opiate Vol. 22 posits this is the year of the P: pandemic and pigs (aka police, in case you somehow weren't aware of the trope)--hence the sumptuous cover art from Dan Bannino. Fiction and poetry from Nina Dunic, Chris Stanton, Alexander Lowell, Khanh Ha, Leanne Grabel, Joel Allegretti, Edward L. Canavan, Cameron Morse, Amy Baskin, John Grey, Thomas Wells, Susie Gharib, Victor Marrero, Sherri Levine and Antonia Alexandra Klimenko invigorate the summer with a touch of the cerebral--for God or whoever knows there's been way too much concern with the corporeal of late (and also corporal punishment).

With this imprint of The Opiate brand, we hope to bring daring and risk-taking literature back into a world that has grown decidedly comfortable in its coma.
