    About the Book

Tribute to the Seas of the world : It takes us to it to be aware of the futility of human life and what it means to fight against all odds.
The sea builds and erodes, makes us float and sinks us. In the sea, after the storm, calm arrives, I lived that too, an experience that suddenly came sailing to the exit of the English Channel on board the ship Pereira City of The Gran Colombian Merchant Fleet, route Hamburg Panama City, cargo ship and only passenger on board, Captain Pineda in command, a man of good manners and an expert in the sea, "Hernán bad weather in sight, storm of bow six hours away", tie up your things and stay with me in the bridge, was the order, the first impression contrary to panic was the energy that filled me after the physical effort of standing 48 hours standing on the bridge watching the waves attack us head-on and cover the ship in a deafening detonation when we burst strongly in the bow, exhaustion turned into liveliness the hours passed slowly like an eternity, the crew showed their most lively face everything was adrenaline so as not to succumb to that moment, it was necessary to take conc We were like a grain of sand in the vastness of the ocean and no matter how hard we try, the sea is an uncontrollable force that only follows its own nature. We can try to fight or control it, but in the end everything depends on divine providence and we are adrift, the luck and agility of the marine command led us to better weather and so that terrible moment ended, the Images of the remote past crowd in my head, and half the time I think that moment was decisive in my life because I was only 21 years old. Nor is there much difference, if there is any difference in affirming in my privacy how much I admire and respect the seas.
