About the Book
Upon his release, he is shocked to discover how much the world around him has changed, but this is only a harbinger of what's to come, for at the end of a cross-country trip to a cabin in Tennessee, where he had hoped to take in a little R&R, he suddenly finds himself in a situation that makes him ask: Am I having a bad dream or am I coming down with a brain tumor?
Whatever has happened to our hero, the troubling fact is he has now become an outsider in a place he starts calling "creatureland" because of the way is is populated by damaged inhabitants from some other time. Over the course of the following nail-biting narrative we meet a diverse cast of "creatures" in a dystopian world.
Not since Aldous Huxley's BRAVE NEW WORLD and George Orwell's 1984 has the future been described so presciently.
