My photographic vision has evolved beyond simple images; I now see the world as a mosaic—a complex viewing forged from countless small details, emotions, and atmospheres. This book charts a continuous, imagined South-to-North traverse from the majestic peaks of Grand Teton near Jackson Hole to the geothermal wonderland culminating near Gardner. This path, compiled over three distinct expeditions, captured unique experiences, from close encounters with bears and wild horses to a rare annular solar eclipse and freezing, breathtaking sunrises.

My approach was personal, a search beyond the grand, eternal-seeming vistas. I sought to capture unique, fleeting points in the history of time—moments that, once passed, can never be reproduced in the dynamic flow of the natural world. This collection is a deliberate act of freezing that flux; in reality, nature is always shifting, but through the lens, the image is rendered eternal.
